Popped in to get a glass brooch as a present. What a wonderful place! So many beautiful pieces on display, difficult to choose! Didn't have time to look around, but will definitely put it on my list for our return visit to Whitby in December.

Beautiful gallery!!
My wife and I have visited a lot of galleries over the years and this one stands out by far above the rest.
Outstanding pieces of art displayed in a bright extensive gallery space on two floor levels and stairwells. Well worth a visit!!

Delightful knowledgeable staff. It was already a light and beautiful space which the extension to upstairs making it more so. And the art is the best I've seen in Whitby, even changed my mind about textiles, a media that was not to my taste before visiting. The interrst free monthly payment scheme made nearly all but the most expensive pieces affordable. So glad we came here.

Lovely relaxing cafe, away from the hustle and bustle, but very central to all the shops. Food fresh and delicious. And check out the gallery for inspiration.

I have been more for the gallery than the cafe, serves reasonable coffee, looks to be good with cakes but haven't tried them.
The gallery is worth a visit, there is often interesting artworks and they change quite regularly, pictures sculptures, ceramics etcetera.
