Came in here to escape the rainy weather. It didn’t disappoint. We got fish & chips and was lush, so big for the price. Lovely atmosphere & pleasant staff, Lewis was lovely and very attentive. Tina, Seth & Kofi also very nice. Great food, staff & restaurant thanks guys x

The food was good, but there was no atmosphere and very basic decoration. There was also a stickiness on the floors and tables. And the windows which were quite dirty which spoilt the potential views.

Went yesterday, around 3pm. Waited 10 mins for a table. Ordered 3 fish and chips (one Gluten Free) with teas. The fish was delicious, really soft and moist with crisp batter. We all really enjoyed the food and drink. Staff were friendly

This has to be one of the best fish and chips I’ve had!! we ordered the BIG one and barely finished it between 2! 😄
Service and staff were friendly and efficient, it was a very busy summers day and they still brought the food out quickly. Highly recommend if you are in Whitby.

Short wait outside on a warm day for a table. It was really delicious and some of the best fish n chips I've had in a while. The waiters were all really helpful and kind. We had a seat overlooking Whitby bridge, which was nice. The only downside that everyone around me could be heard to say was that the toilets are another 2 floors up from the tables. I found alot of ppl struggling up and down the stairs.

Absolutely amazing food Noel was so friendly and looked after us very well amazing service. Also Sophie the manager dealt with an annoying customer very well will be back to papas in Whitby again. 5 star plus.
