This coffee shop was so good, we visited it twice in one day and I would strongly recommend for a drinks stop if you are visiting Whitby.
The coffee shop is in a great central location overlooking the harbour and bridge. It also does a small range of food.
We had a friendly welcome and enjoyed some very nice coffee, drinks and a couple of fresh jam scones. This place has a lovely feel, with tasteful seaside contemporary décor, comfy chairs, and even really nice crockery; no trashy mugs here.
The upstairs seating is roomy with some great views. Its a great place to chill and is good value.
Beautiful & sleek cafe with relaxing atmosphere. There is a window seat which overlooks stunning Whitby, although they need to be careful not to burn espresso as it goes through the machine - I enjoyed my visit and delicious hot chocolate very much!! Lovely friendly staff :)
Great little stop to get out the rain and grab a coffee and a slice of carrot cake. Amazing cake and coffee, dog friendly and very spacious, good choice of sweet treats and drinks (hot and cold) were available. It was a little stuffy given the rain and the number of "bodies" inside, be careful if you're a glasses wearer!
Excellent coffee shop. Coffee properly made and tasted nice. Cakes also freshly baked locally. Someone has invested a good amount of time and money on refurbishment this nice old building. The leather arm chairs are good quality and comfortable 👌. Music system also good. Best place in town to visit for coffee.
Went in for a coffee. Very good service and nice coffee. Unfortunately, we revisited on Friday and the upstairs room was closed and they were serving only in takeaway cups.
There are a lot of nice cafes and tea rooms in whitby, but as far as the quality of the coffee being served, this is the best I've come across, and the only I've seen serving genuinely 'specialty' coffee.
The coffee (from Bean Shot roasters) is well extracted. Milk was textured well and the flat white was well presented

Lovely little cafe. We called in for coffee and a slice of carrot cake which was lovely. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were polite and helpful. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic cafe in the heart of Whitby with some lovely views over the bridge and harbour. Delicious coffee and lovely ambience, loved our visit and really enjoyed looking at the book of how the cafe came about!
Definitely the place to stop for your caffeine fix.
Thanks for the staff for looking after my drone bag after accidently leaving behind. The staff were kind enough to keep it safe behind the counter until I returned 😁
We shall be back in a few weeks when we return to Whitby, and shall call in for a beautiful coffee 😍
