Red Door Bistro

This little hidden gem is amazing, the food is exceptional and the staff can’t do enough for you. The menu is great not too big but enough choice which changes all the time, so you can always get something different every time you go. The steak was so tasty and cooked to perfection and the lamb I had on a previous visit was unbelievable.

Lovely place, staff were excellent very polite and really looked after us. The food was amazing all tasted so fresh. I had the beef Sunday dinner and it melted in my mouth, we had two children with us there dishes were lovely could tell it was made with just as much love an care as the adult meals were, you don’t get that often these days. An absolute gem of a place. Will definitely be visiting again!!

My partner and i enjoyed a Saturday date night at The Red Door. We both was very impressed with the low lighting, well spaced tables and the relaxed atmosphere.. The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional, We even got to meet the chef about 9pm when she came over to greet us. Now on to the food, what I ever I was to write about the food would not be complimentary enough, as everything was exceptional (even the wait times between courses). In my opinion, this is the no.1 restaurant in Wigan and with all things considered reasonably priced. With a couple of drinks expect about £50 ahead. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant for a fantastic evening.

This was my first experience dining at the Red Door Bistro, it won’t be my last! Amazing food and the tequila old fashioned cocktail was outstanding. The place looks amazing, hope to spend many years coming here. Thank you for a great evening just to add the staff I would say were very professional and attentive from start to finish.

What a fantastic little place! I chose this venue to host my Mums 60th party. We had the upstairs area to ourselves, it’s absolutely beautiful up there, from the decor to the atmosphere I couldn’t fault it. We had the Mezze boards for the guests and they went down an absolute treat, with rave reviews from everyone. The staff were lovely, the owner Jane, equally as welcoming and lovely. Thank you for making my Mums day so very special! I really can’t wait to come down and have a meal at such an amazing little establishment.
