I arrive at this outstanding place many times because I enjoy the good mood that is characterizes this place. The team is exceptionally cordial and experienced. The service is pretty fast. Most important, the food they prepare is outstanding. I frequent many times and I was never disappointed. The price is honest. I highly suggest this restaurant to all my friends.

Casino De Cuba is by far the best place to eat in all of Wigan town centre. Inside the atmosphere is vibrant and full of character and outside The Secret Garden is just full of bohemian magic... you can sit all afternoon eating tapas and tacos, listening to the chilled music and having an amazing shisha (mango flavour is delicious 😋) Nothing was too much trouble for all of the lovely staff and I will definitely be back again!

What a disaster. There was a lot of staff on when me and my partner went, we sat down and ordered 2 cocktails and food. Cocktails came and we enjoyed them, food came but it was not what we asked for. It came with chips with skin on which the one lady told us that the meal didn't come with chips as she told us our loaded fries would be out shortly. Mistake on the chefs end it seemed, hot dog didn't have no onions on either but rather than complain we just ate our meal. We wasn't charged for the fries fair enough as we started eating and didn't want to make too much of a fuss. Once we had finished i did bring it up that the hotdog was basic and didnt have any onions, the lady gave us a free drink as an apology, my girlfriend had another cocktail, I had an IPA. Her free cocktail was nothing like the first one, it was just pure foam, not the pina colada that we both had the first time, my girlfriend wanted to order another cocktail after this and just said that the cocktail she had wasn't good. The lady went away and bought one back, my girlfriend really wanted to pay but she was hesitant that we have it for free and that she made it herself. Now i get its hard for staff in the current covid climate in bars and restaurants but clearly none of the staff could get things right, chef was clearly on a bad day and I wasn't going to complain about the food and wait. Food came very quick but drinks didn't, I counted 8 staff in and around the very small bar area so I'm not sure why service was slow, one was sitting down, on a break or something maybe? Just not very professional at all.

This spot is excellent! Good pricing, big portions and the staff are constantly friendly.

I would not recommend this place for visiting. First think, cleanliness of the "restaurant" is terrible, they have outside terrace with few tables and I think they not cleaned that area since they opened (Even dried bird excrement was on the tables and no one thought to remove it). Next, quality of food is below than average, 13£ for a shrimp with pasta is really not bad, but not when the pasta is clearly not cooked and the shrimp is still frozen. And after all of this, table service, such we was there, people from the 2 nearest tables just went away as they was waiting for their drinks more than 40 minutes. And last one, if you still willcome to this place, double check your bill, main was for the 15£ more than should be. After conversation with manager and another waiting for about 10 minutes issue was sorted with the wording - sorry.
