Came here for the first time with my partner when entering the building was greeted by some young staff members the place seemed very quiet downstairs with just a group booking in when we arrived. The service was very quick and presentation of the table was fabulous. Food was delicious. Their was a slight hiccup with food when arriving where our food was taken to a wrong table however was corrected. The young lad tall slim dark hair and glasses was very good at his job and definitely can see managerial role in the future for him. Would come back again but for special occasion purposes.

Called in last night and had the early bird menu , it was gorgeous ! No scrimping as far as we could see .Will certainly be calling in again ,and the staff , including the young lady on the downstairs bar are an absolute credit to the restaurant and themselves 👏👏👏made our evening Thank you

We love Franco’s! We’ve been so many times and the service and quality of food never let us down. There’s never a worry of our favourites disappearing off the menu or specials as Franco himself says “if we have the ingredients why wouldn’t we make it?” If only all restaurants had the same attitude. One of our favourites 🥂

Fantastic night with my family and friends celebrating my 50th.
Food was spot on !! Staff were amazing and Franco was on top form. What a great night. I'd highly recommend Francos for any occasion.

Whilst France’s may not be the finest Italian restaurant I’ve ever dined in, the building and decor is long overdue a revamp, the food is pretty good. I started with the ribs and moved on to a pretty decent lasagna. Price wise it’s very reasonable and there’s a good selection of beers and wines. My daughter complained to me about crystallised ice-cream which tells me they potentially buy cheap ingredients. I would certainly return, I’m not sure I’d get excited by it.

Ate here yesterday evening on a work trip. Had the 3 courses for £16.95 which is amazing value. I wasn’t expecting much for the price but it was all delicious and worth paying much for more! The staff were warm and attentive. Will definitely go back if I’m ever in Wigan again!

Took advantage of the early bird (before 7pm) dining offer where you get 3 courses for £16.95 per head.
My prawn cocktail ( old school favorite of mine) was nice tasty sauce, lots of fresh cold prawns on a salad bed, my partner enjoyed the pate.
Main course I chose was a spicy penne pasta, good size portion, lots of taste with a Chilli zing, followed by cheese cake.
The staff here are very friendly, bar prices are reasonable (similar to most pubs) and it was a really enjoyable couple of hrs with family & friends - highly recommended 😋

Absolutely brilliant, we had a great time here for my Dad's birthday meal. All the staff are very friendly and the decor is very nice.
It's the first time I've ever been, but I've always wanted to just because of how it looks from the outside, and it didn't disappoint.
It's got a nice bar area downstairs to wait while your party arrives, with a good selection of drinks.
The menu is great, I can honestly there didn't look like one thing I wouldn't like.
Everybody enjoyed their food, especially my daughter .
All in all, we had a great time and will see definitely go again.
