Best chippy around so not sure of the bad reviews! If they had a problem go back and sort it the staff and owner are lovley! Chips are amazing and gravey defo isn't lumpy. Glad I moved around the corner from it!

Had a breakfast from there and it was superb, added extras to it and was still only a £5. Easily best chippy around that area too the XL fish are huge 👍

Great place, on site parking. Good covid precautions. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Best of all food is really good a really good chippy. Prices very reasonable. Just bear in mind there are limited opening hours and it's popular so sometimes there's a queue. Go in plenty of time and your fine. Would definitely recommend!!

Down to earth, simple English chippy. Friendly staff and basic food done well. As I'm not from Wigan I was very confused by the local delicacy of smack and pea wet...potato scallop and peas apparently. Strange opening times is my only issue, but otherwise fab 👍

As an Ex lorry driver I have visited chipy's all over the country,but this one would get my vote every time,the fish are superb quality and the chips are cooked to perfection,and goes without saying wonderful value for money.

Was just passing by so I grabbed a portion of chips for me and my partner, classic chippy chips and nothing fancy, positive customer service. The place is hidden away around a corner so you wouldn't even realise it exists as it's off the main road. Also the opening and closing times are a bit odd, they're not open for long during the day so the majority of times that we fancy going, they're shut.

Love the food, but we think they put too much seasoning something, often feel really thirsty couple hours after dinner. However, nice place for something different and the service always friendly.Came here with friends that live in the area and recommend we go with them. We loved this place! The food and service were excellent.

Fantastic chippy..no badchips. Always packed out. Greatest chippy iever have been too. Awesome chips food is brilliant staff go beyond to give you complete satisfaction. There the best all round UK theydeser e recognitions end my sister gets them and she's from runcorn.

Excellent 'Proper' chippy.
Everything is lovely, including nice clean shop.
Tea time opening 4 till 6 only well worth a visit, you will see by the queue how popular it is .
