Mcdonald's

i hadnt been to a mcdonalds since i was a kid over 16 years ago or so at a drive through with my parents. i went to this one inside recently and its pretty handy. you order off a touch screen and your order comes up, i like that, it saves the awkward standing at a counter wondering what you should get and taking ages holding a que up feeling rushed and gets rid of any possible social anxiety, its a good system. and the food was done and sent out pretty fast. the food tasted good, the usual mcdonalds food and taste you expect, nothing to complain about there. will probably go again sometime.

This newer McDonald's is located in a weird part of Wigan, surrounded by tower blocks and hidden in a housing estate. A two storey construction, with a lift for wheelchairs and people unable to use staircases, it's modern and clean. The staff were friendly and happy and my order was not messed up. A better than average McDonald's.

Food never turned up from uber. Manager wasn't helpful. Said basically it was ubers problem. Had an issue on uber before and the resteraunt in question sent meals out. So maccies are trying to scam people. I got no straws, no sauces, no dips to sharing boxes. Food was stone cold. Awful experience. Never again. Platt bridge is not like that. Got wait 7-10 days for a refund and my sons had no food. Ridiculous customer service. Atleast uber are honest

Staff here all hard working & friendly. However burgers not hot enough, esp if take away. Jamie Oliver needs to know most adults know burgers are meant to be hot! I know some reheat at home. I think that's worse than a cold fresh burger. Luke warm food isn't nice to eat. Also wish they used cheese that doesn't melt like plastic. Garstang cheese slices are healthier tastier & regional to us. Just my personal view. Always very clean too.
