Had a good stay, room was well equipped and warm. Food downstairs was well priced and quick. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were a touch pricey perhaps, but would stay again !

I was thoroughly impressed with the work that the staff put into ensuring that this establishment runs smoothly. The accommodation that I was allocated was adequate and suited my needs! The shower was a very pleasant surprise, as opposed to a bath shower. The WiFi coverage in the bedroom wasn't the most effective that I have experienced, I had to use the dining area cubicle to get a better signal. The USB ports for charging mobile phones were unfortunately not working. All in all, I would certainly stay here again and would further recommend to family and friends.

Both stayed and ate/drank there. Both good value. Slightly north of the town near a large park and convenient for the impressive Haigh Parkland. Went to a rugby game and overall enjoyed my visit. Would stay again. Nice to have on-site parking.

Cheap and cheerful. Pretty standard room but has everything you need for a night away. Only issue for me was the beds are quite hard and I had a restless night due to this as a softer bed is what I prefer. As a guest you get free parking, but the car park is relatively small and as its part of a pub this could be an issue for the amount of rooms they have available here. Overall, for the price and location can't complain :)

The car park, which used to be part of the premises, is now operated by an independent contractor. Make sure you follow the instructions carefully because you could, inadvertently, land yourself with a hefty fine. It's the one point that ruins this pub for me.

Room could have done with a better clean bed was clean it was few crumbs on the side by the kettle marks around the taps just the little things needed more attention we had two bottles of water in the room a nice touch only one of the bottles had the seal broken and hadn't been replaced threw the water down the toilet staff were nice and decent service and as with all spoons drink is a good price as is the food which we had scampi and chips with peas great in the morning I had large breakfast no complaints my wife had small American came with no maple cooked bacon and when bacon came was just the same as what I had was nice but not as described her pancakes were tough hard to cut through as I said just the little things decor in our room needed attention cracks in ceilings and woodwork would stay there again as it was a good location for the DW BUT ATTENTION NEEDED

Nice spoons pub. Had a pizza and was amazing. Cheap drinks. Unfortunately you need to pay for parking only down side, Tho.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. The rooms as very clean with plenty of towels. The bed was comfy and the room was nice and warm in this cold weather. Tea and coffee facilities available in the rooms. The only downside is the bathroom is quite narrow but spotless with bath and shower. Reception staff were very friendly. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good value for money as is the drink. Very pleasant atmosphere but can get very busy later on at night. Again staff very friendly. Clean toilets despite the crowds in the bar and restaurant. Very happy with the visit and will definitely be back
