Every time I come down from Hull to see my parents and they want fish and chips, always make a stop here. There are other chippy's close to them but The Fish at Goose Green staff always make you feel welcome, the prices are fair and the chips are the best! Thanks also the young ladies who served me last Friday between 7:15 and 8 as they were terrific. Sorry I don't know their names, but please thank them for me I'll be back soon!!

These ladies know what they're doing. The fish was perfect. Thin batter with none of the spongey white gooey stuff underneath. Prices reasonable. I'd highly recommend based on this visit

Was reccomended about this chippy ages ago and whenever in the area i try and pop in Never been let down on anything chips are nice and crispy fish and batter always spot on staff always helpful and smiley this chippy should get an award

I am a very picky eater and this place has excellent food. Their hygiene rating has been a 5/5 for as long as I remember and is always up to date so you know they handle their food properly unlike some other places. 10 out of 10 I would highly recommend this place if you want a chippy tea.

I have tried many chippies in Wigan... This has to be the best! The fish was so light and cooked to perfection. I ordered through just eat at 17.08. It had arrived at 17.25. Amazing service. Don't hesitate. This is the place to go!
