Canny little spot this, friendly attentive staff. Food is home cooked, from our experience and some care is taken around this. Good selection ofcakes/pies for desert. Very reasonable in price overall when compared to chain restaurants or takeaways. Well worth a visit and a little bit quirky.

Absolutely fantastic food was lovely never mind the review above. Fruit flys are a massive problem in the summer they live in my vinegar bottles back home the staff sorted it as he said.
I think he needs to remember it's rural also in these areas so places may be different back home.
Anyway my son had the chicken burger and chips. Loved it home cooked he is fussy!
My partner scampi and soup to start he loved it. And he is fussy also.
Daughter had chicken strips to start and macaroni from kids menu and chocolate cake ( brilliant price for kids)
She ate it.
I had chicken strips to start lovely and the steak.
Server was lovely.
10/10 will be back next time we are down at caravan.
Thank you for a lovely meal in a nice chilled out relaxing atmosphere.

Popped in for lunch on a whim. Traditional Scottish lunch fare which was very tasty. Staff were exceptionally friendly particularly I’m assuming the female manager/owner who was a lesson in great customer service.

Lovely little cafe on Wigtown Main Street. I had the homemade vegetable quiche which came with a very generous portion of chips, salad and coleslaw. Only down side was card reader broken but free cash point across the way. Dogs welcome and free treato given :)

Absolutely lovely staff member on, didn’t catch her name! Accommodating and Welcoming. Lack of vegan options, but I was accommodated with a baked potato and beans which was yummy!

What a lovely cafe. Staff were run off their feet when I was in, but nothing was too much for them. Very good food and reasonable prices and very dog friendly.

Cobwebs was a lovely restaurant with very good tasty food at good prices. We'll worth a visit if you are in Wigtown. Might be worth booking a table at lunch time as it gets very busy.

What a gem of a place to find. Service was lovely and pleasant and food was good quality traditional fayre which everyone should find something they will enjoy.
Toilets were clean and tidy although I think anyone with a wheel chair might have difficulties though.
The best thing to do is book a table as we saw several people turned away as it was already booked and we grabbed one of the few unbooked tables.

Been meaning to come here for a while. We had afternoon tea delivered from them during lockdown and it was delicious so looking forward to trying their lunch menu and it didn't disappoint. I had lasagne and himself had chicken strips in pepper sauce. Both came with chips (proper ones), salad and coleslaw, a right plateful. Both were very tasty indeed. We managed to fit in a scone for himself (warm, with butter, jam and cream) and carrot cake for me which came with cream and ice cream! Along with 2 delicious coffees, we were very full and happy. We'll worth a visit, we shall be back.
