This restaurant was 10/10 on absolutely every course, we had the weekday 2 course meal, which was incredible and treated ourselves to a lovely red wine, some dauphinoi potato, and the café gourmand. It was perfect.

Came for a wedding lunch. We had the second floor to ourselves. The food was great.
The service was top-notch we got drinks very quickly. When some dishes were missing, it arrived very afterwards.
I'm sure normal service it would be excellent as well.
The menu was quite large and easy to read. so it would fill your appetite.

Great food and excellent service.
Initially dropped in for breakfast but enjoyed it so much we immediately booked for dinner the same night and the quality and experience were once again equalled.

Gosh….. what an amazing experience, the food was amazing and so filling. I will definitely be returning again soon. All the staff were brilliant and couldn’t be any nicer. Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had for a while

The food, atmosphere and decor all at a high standard, but what really made this a memorable experience was the service! I’d love to see Amy and the team receive recognition for their efforts. It was so appreciated that they took note of my booking - saying that we were there celebrating my best friend’s birthday. So many times in the past (other restaurants) have ignored or neglected this opportunity and I commend Cote for their approach.
Giving 4 stars rather than 5 as there are only 3 vegan dishes, which is quite an imbalance.

Really good food. Everyone in our party (12) all agreed how good the food was.
I definitely recommend the crab maison starter and steak sharer. The steak was cooked to order.
Good selection of gluten free food, which came with little flags to show it was gluten free.
We were asked to pre-order because we had such a big party, it was a shame that some of the food we had pre-ordered was then not available during service.

Went for breakfast on Sunday morning. Not too busy. The food was well presented and tasty. The only thing I would say, is that when they brought the tea, the cup offered was dirty with coffee/tea stains. I used to work in restaurants and would have been really embarrassed to provide a cup like that. It only takes two seconds with a damp cloth to remove the coffee/tea stains. I normally go to the one in Basingstoke and with Rose, there, often doing the coffees this would not have happened. I will return tho!

Booked for dinner on Saturday evening, really lovely location in a beautiful old building. Friendly and engaging staff. Lovely meal especially the sharing board we had as a starter. Worth a visit.
