Lovely lamb roast dinner for a very reasonable price. Large portions and a good variety of fresh veg. Good atmosphere and you can tell the staff are working really hard to make it work. Would definitely recommend a visit!

What a superb little pub, this is a really cosy pub / restaurant in an idyllic location. The staff were really friendly and the food freshly cooked and very tasty.
A good selection on the menu and staff knowledgeable about the food and ingredients. A very welcome relief from the tiresome chain restaurants.
Ample parking available on site and access to some lovely countryside walks
Thanks for a great visit!

Nice friendly pub .Sat outside for Sunday lunch. Plenty of tables and they were spaced out well. Didn't pre book a table ,but was accommodated anyway. I ordered a roasted aubergine vegan option which was lovely .with ots of roasted vegetables served on a separate dish. .
My daughter ordered a vegan chilli which was disappointing, and very bland.
Service was great. Lovely staff. The pub was spotless including the restrooms..
Great pub ,just needs to improve on the vegan options .Will definitely visit again..

Booked in advance and visited for Sunday lunch with my wife and son and what a brilliant little find this was for us.
Staff were very attentive and friendly whilst we visited, service was spot on compared to many pubs we have visited for Sunday lunch. Chicken roast and Lamb roast was great and came out very quickly our sons fish and chips were delicious and the portion size for a child is huge for the price that you pay.
Easton mess was delicious and presented beautifully and a great play on the name for a classic dish. Big thank you to Alex for being very accommodating and giving us one of the best family Sunday lunches we’ve had in a long time.
Will book again in the future once we are back in Winchester.

Great Sunday lunch, we had roast aubergine (vg option) and a coconut tart, both were delish. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely bring people back for a decent country pub experience!

What a great little find. Stayed in our motorhome for the night having called ahead. Very warm welcome, delicious good quality meals. Nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace which is sheltered. Lamb burger and pork belly were amazing. Good options for the children. Quiet night. Bookmarked for future trips!

We enjoyed it so much here on our visit to the area that we went back the next evening. The food was really delicious, the service was so professional. The best pub meal experience we have had for years. 5 stars definitely!

The meal was fantastic; great ingredients and beautifully presented. It's what I would expect from a top restaurant, far superior to pub grub. The real ale was good too...
I returned 9 months later and whilst the food was good by pub standards I was disappointed with the menu. There's not much choice at lunchtime. If you are going I recommend that you go there in the evening.

Really enjoyed our lunch here yesterday. I chose the seafood bowl, my son had the seafood board and my daughter in law had fish n chips. We followed with the sweet board. All the food was excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.

Food was absolutely delicious and a great selection on the menu. Staff were lovely and service was excellent. The pub felt Covid safe but still retained all the charm of the country pub atmosphere. If you want to support the hospitality industry I would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful pub. Thank you to the staff for an excellent enjoyable afternoon lunch!
