Really liked this place. I've been looking forward to it reopening since moving nearby. Lovely beer garden and terrace. The interior decor has been done in a lovely plush yet relaxed style, but in this great weather, it was all about the outside area. The pizza was freshly cooked with a generous amount of toppings for both kids and full size. The whole roast chicken (I did share this) was juicy and served with a pot of its roasting juices as a dipping sauce was spot on. The service was friendly and attentive, and everything was well presented. All in all, spot on, and I look forward to going back again very soon. I hope the team makes a success of the business.
Update- this is now my new local, I the place and the team a lot. They just have it will balanced. I truly wish this business a lot of success.

Friendly new landlords. Dark decor but tasteful and cozy. Only negative is no parking at all and the refurbishment of the garden has removed the ramp access so there is now no disabled/mobility impaired access.

Completely forgot to say my local the Roebuck has been taken over and what a lovely team they are. Plus I’ve now got a new favourite beers Butcombe Bitter. Just delightful
