Balaka has now changed ownership and has a new name. Gurkha Spice. Brad and his team looked after us well with some friendly service and lovely food on their opening night yesterday.

Lovely customer service and knowledgeable staff. Delicious pasanda and naan bread. My only gripe is that it's a bit expensive, especially for the vegetarian options.

Food is good, although older version with smaller chunks of meat was better.
Website lets you pre-order for 1655 then when you call they say restaurant delivery from 1730!

Delicious Naga I've had in ages but the Monkfish curry is a delicious taste to have with very spicy curry.
I do like the Duck Naga aswell but the monkfish is better with this curry. Also the best nan with this curry is Paratha.

Quite possibly the best curry in Winchester. Cheaper than the city centre Indian restaurants. Brilliant family feel and fantastic food. Interesting menu with some unique dishes alongside the usual classics.

It's easy to order online and collect.the food is good, the only thing is that it needed to be spicier. Chose briyani and there was no heat at all. Good value for money though

Good food. Service on this occasion a bit random, food didn't all arrive at the same time. Pleased they now have itemised printed bills.
