Lovely bar and restaurant. We were a party of 14 on Friday night seated in the private dining area. We opted for the grazing menu and had a constant flow of superb food over the course of the evening. The service was excellent all evening and I would thoroughly recommend No. 5 Bridge Street and will definitely be returning.

Awesome bar, great service and tasty menu. Live music every Friday night too which makes this place the perfect spot to kick start the weekend!

We stumbled across this pub last weekend and instantly enjoyed the vibe, the bar staff are lovely and friendly. Great selection of wine, beer, spirits and cocktails. We have since decided this will be our new local and enjoyed a couple of evenings there and last night decided to try out the food. We weren't disappointed, everything tasted delicious the food came out quickly and hot, and our waiter Adam was friendly & helpful, we were able to enjoy the rest of our evening by moving from the kitchen side back to the bar area. We will definitely be looking to book here for food again.. the Sunday roasts look amazing so we definitely plan to try out them soon.

It’s now the Kyoto kitchen - Just had dinner at the new restaurant and it was delicious - great service and beautifully presented and fabulous food - the new place has only been open a week so disregard any older posts here about rooms but their sushi bar will open up soon in the back of the restaurant and that looks to be awesome !

We celebrated a special birthday lunch at Bridge Street House on a rainy Thursday lunchtime and so pleased we chose this venue as we enjoyed wonderful cocktails before lunch and then an amazingly tasty lunch which would be hard to find outside of London. The bar and restaurant is very stylish and cosy with very attentive staff and a fabulous drinks and food menu, highly recommended! Make the effort to keep walking down the High Street, past the run of the mill pubs and walk into Bridge Street House, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect location in the centre of Winchester. Room had a few minor repairs that need doing but was clean and comfortable. Stayed on a Saturday night and pub is lively, so there was noise till about 1am. Didn't bother us but something to be aware of. Would stay again.

Really nice food but a bit pricey. They brought out the wrong dish and it was quickly rectified and taken off the bill. Really good service and lots of lovely dogs in the courtyard!

Came here for a meal with a large group of friends, the atmosphere was good and the staff were friendly. The food was very tasty. We then moved to the bar area which had a cool DJ so great to have a dance and drink. Would recommend for a good night out.

We were graciously permitted to join the friends and family soft launch of the new menu (possibly as I wore a birthday badge!). Honestly, I’ve been to some top restaurants and I was in absolute heaven. I can’t promise you’ll get the same menu options as it was a trial, but the chicken thigh croquette and the mac and gruyere cheese side were SUBLIME. Big props to the chef, everything on the table was sumptuous (and thank you for the birthday surprise). Also top notch espresso martinis on the bar, well worth a visit.

Super lovely stay in an old inn that's had new life breathed into it. The room was really nice and the location perfect. The staff are great and gave us amazing service despite juggling a busy bar, food service and full hotel. Will definitely come back!

Kitchen hasn’t been open long and it was our first visit, we had a lovely late lunch. Food was delicious and freshly cooked and the staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back for Sunday lunch in the future. Thank you!
