I went to visit Lian for dinner with my sister and uncle who are both vegetarian. They had the singapore fried noodle with Bamboo shoots and Schezhuan Tofu. I had a special singapore fried noodles with chicken and prawn and a side of Satay chicken. The best chinese restaurant I have ever visited, I will definitely be back to this hidden spot. We were served by Ally and William. They were so friendly and made us feel comfortable with our vegetarian requirements.

Standards do vary but if you are fortunate to get the top chef then you will have a superb meal. On the right night everything is delicious and you will want to go back the next day, but unfortunately it isn't always so because you never know who is cooking for the night - so it's hit and miss. Standards do vary, ranging from fantastic to just okay, it all depends on what chef you get - but if you are lucky you are in for a treat! Nice staff and good vegan options too.

Had heard of this place over the years, but never been and had built up a vision of somewhere I couldn't afford, where only the well off would fit in. What a total misconception that was. OMG, it's elegant decor gives off a warm and comforting feel, with the welcome, service and food all being well above what you might expect. Will certainly be returning, hopefully soon.
