I experienced the delights of Wivenhoe Kitchen whilst at a yoga retreat. I am Vegan and so was thrilled to have a fully vegan menu to choose from. The salads and soups were wholesome, healthy and tasty, and the evening meals of curry and veg lasagne were really delicious. I was so excited by the fact of having vegan Naan bread too! All the sweet treats were really nice and also healthy.
I would definitely recommend the company.

Working very locally to the kitchen, I know the ladies to be lovely, we often chat and have a laugh, never have I heard a negative response to these lovely ladies.
I've also enjoyed samples of the food and purchased many dishes all of which have been very tasty but my favourite is definitely the burgers, which I often have on a Saturday lunchtime.

Everything I have bought from here has tasted delicious ….my special favourites are the sweet potato burgers. and the desserts, which are all scrumptious!
It is really brilliant to know that all the ingredients are fresh and seasonal and healthy. Bev and Julie are consistently welcoming and friendly and they, and Wivenhoe Kitchen are such an asset to Wivenhoe!

Saturday lunch from the Wivenhoe Kitchen has become a ritual. Really good tasty food at amazing prices. Check out the burgers - different recipe every week and every week just as good. Can also recommend the brownies.

Couldn't disagree more with the comments from pl p. All 3 of the Wivenhoe Kitchen Ladies are very friendly, polite and engaging! Nothing is too much trouble!! I'm not vegan but have sampled most delicious delights on the menu, and am very partial to the Brownies, Rocky Roads and Flapjacks!!!
Of late I've been indulging in the various burgers and salads, all of which are good value for money. You can also get a cold water or tea and coffee. Excellent food, excellent staff!!!!!

Great Chinese takeaway. Good health rating and the salt and pepper chicken is to die for.
Can only seem to order over the phone but it was super easy and they delivered to Alresford, perfect!
