Great Bangladeshi Restaurant. We ate here as a party of three and had a great dining experience. The service was friendly and attentive but not over the top. The menu was large and varied offering lots of choice and interesting sounding dishes. The food we ordered was delicious and the portion sizes were good.
We will definitely return.
Raising the bar. There has been a surprising amount of discussion in the Express & Star restaurant "suggestions" regarding which is the best "Indian" in Wombourne with the supporters of the Wombourne Tandoori probably being the most vociferous. Having now eaten at both, my preference is for Tiffus for the simple reason that there is very little to criticise apart from a slight draft from the front door if you happen to be seated near it.
It's not the cheapest bring your own balti I have been to but you do get a little more for your money and you can see a bit of extra effort and thought has gone in to the food. It is a slick outfit, perhaps unsurprisingly as their sister restaurant (Harry's in Lye) is also very popular.
Normally I describe the dishes and what I like about them but to be fair to Tiffus they have raised the bar with some novel touches and I don't see why I should be telling the competition what Tiffu is doing. Even the green theme in the loo was a talking point.
In a nutshell the food and service was faultless, even on a very busy Saturday night.
It's only small and tightly packed, it's popular for good reason so I guess it's normally quite busy. Booking almost essential at peak times so if looking for a quiet romantic night you may want to avoid these.
We took our Australian friends to Tiffus and they absolutely loved the food and the service, as did we.
Great tasty food 😋 and excellent customer service 👌_ All staff are very helpful and provide friendly service.
17 of us visited tiffu's last night.
Service was fantastic, warm welcome, nothing to much trouble...
Food was hot & tasty, all served together, which was fab, will definitely be returning....thank you all so much for making it a great night, regards. Sally x
Outstanding service and food! Cannot fault anything at all. Will definitely be going back again! 😁
I have dined here on many occasions.
They have a good amount of seating.
There is a car park opposite so easy to get to from car.
They definitely enjoy the colour lime green and the last time I was there even the loo paper was lime green! Lol
The food is well prepared and tasty, the naan bread is huge! Arrived hanging too, worth getting one.
The staff are professional and helpful.
The food was amazing. Lovely flavours. The ghost naga was an amazing dish (see photo) best keema naan we have had :) the tiger prawn starter was exceptional. The service was great and the staff were lovely, will definitely return
Old style English Indian restaurant. Reminds me of 90s Bangladeshi Indian restaurants all over the UK, with a large number of dishes to choose Bring your own booze! Helps to bring the cost down .
Amazing food, fantastic presentation, friendly helpful staff and great prices.
Oh my goodness the food was absolutely delicious and so yummy. Never seen the size of naan bread that size in my life..so nice..I recommend it and will go again
Out standing service, fantastic food, this place was a first for us, definitely recommend
