Smallish MSA with excellent Covid measures. Lovely hot water to wash hands in the loos which is a rare occurrence these days

The electric doors were not working - during the covid tier 5 lockdown, this is a simple basic essential to prevent further spread of covid.

Yes some area to the toilet in one way traffic but I hated using the loos there as you have to squeeze in to get into the cubicle, there is no space !! Then the actually toilet seat NEEDS to be touched to open, then you have to touch the flush! So not covid friendly this toilet, I don't like and don't want to touch the toilet seat or the flush. Needs updating, they are proper rubbish toilets.

Nice clean service station, plenty of disabled parking, great to see a multi faith prayer room. There's a microwave to heat your own food if you want. Toilets were generally clean as were baby changing facilities, although baby mat seemed a bit old, so used our own travel one.

These services have been there for a long time but are still useful if you need a slash or a dump. They are outdated when compared to Stafford services about 20 miles away and much nicer. Sells all the usual rubbish and if you want a posh sandwich on the cheap then call in after 6pm when they are lowering the prices for stock on todays date in m and s.

Normal general run of the mill services. We visited the Costa by the doors. Although our drinks were ok the place wasn't hygienically maintained considering the pandemic! The floor was unswept table sticky and a dead fly on the sill. We sat there for round 20 minutes and we didn't witness any member of staff cleaning, only busy serving a queue of customers. Their fault? Probably not, typically understaffed and too rushed to do any cleaning.

Very amenable , helpful staff, just wish people would stop using disabled bays without badges and disabled toilets are for disabled people ..thats why there not as clean as they should be ..I will post photos next time for sure .maybe this will jog owners into doing something..!!

A fairly average motorway services with the usual food and drink outlets: Costa, Burger King, Greggs and a W H Smith and M & S Food where you can buy sandwiches and drinks to take out. Nowhere that serves a proper cooked meal. We just made a short stop here, had a coffee and a raspberry and almond slice at Costa. The seating area was comfy and the staff were pleasant. Social distancing well managed throughout the services and the toilets were very clean.
