decent chippy the chips are nice and i like how they are red battered the curry sauce had quite the spice to it but overall decent chippy in my opinion

First time going tonight, I had chicken kebab and chips and a savaloy and it was hot fresh and delicious , went in about 8.30pm and staff were very friendly. I think within time once they are settled it will be a great edition to the neighbourhood👍👍👍

This is it! Under new management and it tells!!! Just had a meal from Skippys and was spoken too and served by I guess the owner and a lovely waitress serving the food.
A true one-to-one experience from owners that care! The food was great and suffice to say I shall return. 😊

Love fish & chips so decided to treat ourselves for tea.
Front of shop is clean & tidy with a large fish tank in the window which is nice to watch whilst waiting for your order. Staff are friendly enough.
Lots of choice, prices are competitive but like everywhere prices have gone up.

Good food and quick service. Staff are spot on. So much better than the young tattooed girl who ran it before when it was the Tasty plaice .(reason why we stopped using the place as did many others - see my other review for the tasty plaice).
Glad it's returned to it's former glory.

I bought pie and chips from Skippys today and the chips were amazing! They were so soft and the pie was perfect! Crispy and piping hot in the middle! Can not recommend the food from this place enough!
If you haven’t been yet you definitely need to try the food! They don’t disappoint and the staff are so friendly and welcoming! :)

First time I've visited since it became skippys and was pleasantly surprised. Its now modern and upto date and gleaming!
The staff are wonderful and the chips were splendid.
The fish was cooked to perfection!
Will definitely be visiting here alot more.

Popped in yesterday (Fri 3rd) The store was a little busy but didn’t wait long at all to be served & then receive my food. I ordered a mini fish special the chips were hot & tasty. Fish was beautiful & curry sauce was Devine!
Will deffo be returning!

The food from skippy’s was good 👍🏽
I had the spicy chicken fillet burger with battered chips and I wasn’t left unhappy with anything I ate. The chips were cooked well and so was the burger - my favourite thing about the order (being part of a larger order) was the fact that they labelled my box clearly so it was easily identifiable which impressed me a lot - will definitely be eating here again
