Lovely quiet restaurant/ pub midweek meal out me and my fiancée first time and what a fantastic place to have gone lovely friendly staff very welcoming and polite food was 110% absolutely delicious so tasty all three courses real good sizes for value for money and very well presented too lovely warm cosy please itself aswell very highly recommend it to anyone we will most certainly be returning again overall great place for a proper tasty meal!!!
I pre-booked a table for 3 for dinner on Saturday 31 March, we were served by Megan who was lovely and attentive throughout our meal without imposing. We have eaten here a few times and the food is always good and nicely presented. Would recommend .
We went for father's day dinner menu. The friendly staff welcomed us even slightly late arrival. The all foods were so delicious and great quality and volume for the price. We are totally stuffed by having own tasty dessert. Highly recommend.
Absolutely lovely atmosphere and beautifully decorated pub. Food was delicious and perfect portion sizes, there was such a great amount of choice on the menu too. Our waitress Haley was so attentive and efficient, and made us laugh several times- she was excellent! Would absolutely come back.
The Duke of York, what a lovely find just on the outskirts of Woodbridge, a gem that could be easily missed, worth calling in for a great selection of wines, fine ales coupled with a great menu and all wrapped up in a simply stunning old building, which is clearly lovingly cared for from décor to furnishings. Our visit was a light lunch, steak sandwich and fishfinger sandwich – the latter was whole fish, both with double cooked proper chips or fries if you prefer. Food was spot on and great value for the quality offered. Service was very friendly, kind and efficient, what more could you ask for in a great pub and restaurant.
Came here for a meal to celebrate after our first date in the very same pub 20 years ago. The food was amazing and the service from all the staff was friendly and professional. Particular thanks go to Hayley, who arranged for our desserts to be brought out on a board, with a lovely happy anniversary message. This was such a lovely gesture which made our evening that little bit more special!

Only criticism I would like to make is I signed up for the app and our visit included a complimentary 75 ml glass of Rose but we were made to pay for it because the glass of coke was cheaper. We didn’t agree but the barman insisted we had to pay.
Other than that we had a very enjoyable meal
we were very impressed. service was great, food was delicious and hot, great choice and good prices. loved surroundings. the girls that served (sorry not good with names) made us feel very welcome. only downside was having to go upstairs to toilet, if had grandchildren I would have struggled, but the cleanliness was exceptional. thank you for making our first visit an enjoyable experience, we will come again
We enjoy coming to thr Duke of York for a meal. Everything about the experience suits us. We came most recently to celebrate my birthday with our daughter and "other half" She is a vegan and really enjoyed her meal too. We had the roast. Excellent!

The food was amazing , we have two children who are very fussy eaters. The staff were accommodating and my children loved the burgers off the children’s menu . My husbands and I meal was also delicious! The staff were lovely and polite and the pub had a lovely atmosphere.
