Excellent chips. Fine fish. Friendly people. Seating basic. All could have had a bit more bite (salt?) but it was fresh & crispy.

It had been a few years since I had been here and glad I went back. I went with a group of around 7 motorbike riders in a Thursday night and we arrived a bit later than we planned it was near closing time. The team were really nice and welcoming and the food was great. They have a seating area inside and they offered it to us even though we arrived very late. They went above and beyond and rest assured we all felt guilty but the team made us deal very relaxed and looked after all of us. We will be back and we are recommending you to others.

We went here on a very wet miserable day while staying nearby at the camp site, beautiful fish and chips, the small fish is huge, lovely chips , not greasy which I dislike, we sat in the restaurant, lovely place, nicely decorated and very comfortable, the lady who served us was very friendly and very polite, would highly recommend, if we return we will visit again
Staff was very polite and nice and the food was top-notch! The only thing is, I have to pay for the condiments…
Update, this chippy has just reopened and to my pleasure to the same previous outstanding quality, enjoy! Highly recommended.

This is the best fish and chip shop in the UK easily.
Consistently excellent. I travel 40 minutes just to go there.
Large tasty fish without being suspiciously GM.
Batter is non Greasy with a lovely crispy out skin and fluffy inner texture.
Chips are perfect, good size, non greasy and high quality potato.
Highly Recommended.
