Kyosen

My friends and I ate at Kyosen the other night and loved this place. The food was delicious (especially the dragon roll!) but what I was most impressed with was the service. Towards the end of the meal we ordered two more dragon rolls and the waitress told us they were running out of the roll ingredients and so could only make one roll, and the chef came to us personally after the meal to apologize for the inconvenience which was very sweet of him. Would highly recommend for their delicious food and great service!

Philadelphia roll was amazing , so good that I had to order two. All the sushi I had was very nice and flavoursome. The bulgogi bibimbap was delicious and a huge portion which I was surprised about . Considering how much you get for that, it is definitely worth the price, it was about £10.90 which personally I think is cheap as it was a big portion and good quality of food. Service was quite slow but food was good.

Went for midweek lunch. First Japanese since leaving Japan after 4 years living there. I had the sashimi lunch set which was very tasty. The sashimi came with six maki rolls of salmon and avocado and a wakame udon which was light in a nice broth. The waiter was friendly and service was great. I hope they change the lunch set regularly. May try the restaurant again in the evening.
