Impasto

Absolutely brilliant! Visited mid-week with a friend, from the welcome through to the finish this restaurant was just amazing. The welcome was perfect and as had booked took us to our table. The young lady who served us throughout was polite, accommodating and ensured we were well taken care of. The perfect blend of attentive without being imposing. Also, showed they take customer care seriously as checked on allergies when requesting a change (it was just due to a dislike of one of the toppings). She is a real credit to Impasto. Food was mind blowing (forgot to take a photo as was hungry and couldn't wait to dig in!) - cooked to perfection, obvious that everything was fresh made. Even the garlic mayo was outstanding! The chefs obviously know their stuff and cannot recommend Impasto highly enough. Good value for money (especially when factoring in drinks) and will definitely return again and again.

10/10! You won’t be disappointed with the food or atmosphere. Honestly one of the best Italian meals we’ve had outside of Italy. Delicious trio of dips – we didn’t expect much as we just thought would be flavoured Hummus, but they were incredible. Really nice cocktails. Wide selection of home made pizza and pasta. Two of us had the Ragu special it was stunning. One had the pizza really delicious freshly stretched though that was prepared behind us. The star of the show was the spinach and ricotta tortellin. A super common dish, but this was exceptional really delicious fillings; rich sauce with mushroom and pancetta. A few of us tried/stole of someone’s plate and it will definitely be a go to dish next time. We’re really excited to head back here. Great atmosphere, all of the staff genuinely loved being there. You could feel the warmth in the energy as they served guests and prepared food/spoke to each other in the open kitchen.

The food here was incredible, we’ve been wanting to try here for a while and are so glad we did. Really nice place inside and staff were great. Whilst there, there were two customers on another table who were causing a fuss and being rude to staff. Staff remained calm and handled the situation extremely well. We were pleasantly surprised by the bill and felt we had great value for money. Lily who served us was polite, attentive and a credit to Impasto! Thanks for a lovely evening!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at an authentic Italian restaurant, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately put me at ease, and I felt like I had been transported to a charming little trattoria in Naples. But the real star of the show was the pizza. Made in the traditional Neapolitan style, it was simply outstanding. The crust was perfectly crisp and chewy, with just the right amount of char. The sauce was tangy and bright, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Every bite was a joy, and I found myself savoring each one with relish. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience. The ambiance, the food, and the service were all top-notch, and I can't wait to go back and try some of their other offerings. Whether you're a pizza lover or simply a fan of delicious cuisine, this place is definitely worth a visit.

This was my first time here and it certainly won't be my last.! We took our seats downstairs which initially I wasn't sure about but it is a very cosy environment and added to the overall experience our waitress couldn't do enough for us and all the food we ordered was of excellent quality and the portions were a very good size. I recommend the sharing boards to start we took one of each and the dirty fries are a must. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu very soon.

Loved it! We have been for my b'day meal this evening. I haven't been before, the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was incredible. If you think you can't have loaded fries with your pasta or pizza think again! And we even had garlic bread with our mains - why not?! All 3 courses were incredible. Safe to safe my jeans are super tight now 🙈. I will be returning. Thank you all at Impasto for a lovely evening
