All the staff are so welcoming and polite. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Favourites are the ribs, steak and omelette. The cheese savoury is the best cheese coleslaw I’ve ever tasted, great on salad and chips. This is our family go to place for a tasty, relaxing lunch. Can’t recommend it enough.
Really great value. Menu of good favourites with lots of choice. Warm and comfortable and very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend !
Fantastic pub, great service, food is lovely. Often have live music. Atmosphere is very friendly. They cater for groups too.

This was our second visit to The Chequers. There were 6 of us this time for the Xmas lunch and we all agreed that the food and service was excellent! We agreed to return in the new year
