Went for lunch today (Wednesday) and it was packed.
Staff are really friendly, food is incredible, and the milkshakes scrummy.
If you're vegetarian or vegan, don't be put off by the name, there's plenty of non meat choices too.
I'd recommend you book instead of just turning up, but The Cow Co is well worth a visit.
PS if any of your party are disabled, it's not always easy to find precise info.
So, in case it helps someone, before you visit, book a table on the ground floor.
When you drive in, look for the sign to the disabled parking, and there's half a dozen spaces right outside the ground floor entrance.
You'll have about 5-10 meters of gravel to negotiate in the car park, then you're on concrete and everything is level access (no kerbs or steps at all). There's also a disabled toilet.

The staff are always lovely and incredibly helpful, no matter what. The food is always delicious and it's set in a brilliant location ! Definitely the best place on the island for a good burger !!

Didn't even check the reviews just a quick look at the menu and we went for it.
No idea there was other activities and bits on the grounds.
Luckily got a table for 5.
Wasn't a busting choice as the mains didn't seem available at the time we were there but we chose a variety of items.
Burger patties were so fat and juicy, fries were nice a crispy.
Chicken goujon sides were delicious.
Kids dog roll and chips was a fair size.
Chicken ceasar salad was a reasonable too.
Coleslaw was a little different but not too bad.
Settings and atmosphere was fabulous.
Prices weren't to bad.
Farm shop over the way was good.
Also had the water park, axe throwing, archery and foot golf at a price of course.
Parking was free.
A great little area with plenty to do.
We were staying at East Afton Piglets which is close to Tapnell farm. The Cow was nearest restaurant which had good reviews and voted to have the best burger. We were not disappointed at all. Really amazing ambience and atmosphere, we sat out and witnessed sunset as well. Burgers were suprisingly really good- I had Moo blue burger which has quite interesting falvours- blend of blue cheese with tomato beetroot chutney was really tasty and unique. We also tried Big smoke burger which was also good and very filling. Would definitely recommend to try this place if around the area -they do have pretty decently good burgers. Staff were also pleasant and welcoming. We were happy with our experience at The Cow🐮
Bring your appetite! I couldn’t finish my burger and dirty fries, which was a shame as it was lush. The smoked cheese sauce was mad good and the burger was a good size and super tasty.
Felt a wee bit sad eating it under the pictures of the calves though….
Probably the best restaurant on the Isle of Wight. Also one of the best restaurants I've been to in general. Come back every year and the food is consistently amazing every time. The best burgers I've ever had here.
Fantastic restaurant with a lively atmosphere and very friendly staff, great place for lunch or dinner. Their burgers and chips are very nice, but the star of the show was the sharing steak for two - quite pricey at £60+ but nicely cooked, juicy and tender, our favourite dish by far. We ordered some mocktails which were great refreshments after a long day of travels.
Nice environment and surrounding grounds, outdoors jazz music great to listen to during the warmer months.

Attended twice in one week, once for lunch and once for dinner (and 6 of us taking a sneaky lunchtime drink one day). We were a large party of 16.
I have never been to a restaurant who have accommodated that number of people with all meals coming out at the same time along with the sides. All orders were correct, nothing was missing and we didn't have to ask for anything. The same with the drinks order.
The food was fantastic (only thing I would of liked was the fish burger on the menu which I had had a couple of years back). Portion sizes are very generous, I had chicken wrap from the kids menu and that portion size was amble for me.
The staff are amazing. Efficient, friendly, nothing too much trouble, quick service. And the kitchen staff who can get the food out in a timely manner and correct deserve a mention.
Highly recommended restaurant and bar. Nice for lunch time snacks sitting outside in the open area as well. Booking for restaurant is advisable to avoid disappointment.

Great restaurant with amazing ambiance and great views. The staff are very friendly and always smiling. We don’t have reservation but the hostess was very accommodating and manages something for us. The food is great and hits the right spots.
We absolutely loved this place. It was such a great atmosphere; so welcoming and surrounded by family fun everywhere you looked. We had the Classic, Louisiana, Blue Cheese, and Beyond Meat Burgers and they were all amazing. The meat burgers were cooked to perfection; comments were ‘the best ever!’ I particularly loved my blue cheese dipping sauce for my perfectly cooked fries. Absolutely delicious. The staff were so friendly, efficient and attentive. It was a pleasure to dine with you 💖
I wasn't expecting much before arriving, and was honestly blown away. The service was worthy of a city centre restaurant - the staff were attentive without being intrusive, and nothing was trouble. The food was simply amazing. None of us are particularly burger fans, and I'm normally quite dismissive of "gastro-burgers" but these were absolutely incredible. High quality ingredients was evident, and there was nothing I could fault. I cannot recommend The Cow highly enough if you're in the area - it's absolutely NOT just somewhere to grab a bite after the Aqua Park in the vein of similar venues at other attractions, it's absolutely worth a visit in its own right.
Wow what a find, this place is massive! Restaurant, farm shop, holiday let’s, aqua park, play area and all in a beautiful setting! The burgers are incredible, we make a lot of burgers at home & love BBQ’s so to find something this special out was a treat! Upgrade to Dirty fries as these are fab!! The Mermaid Gin Cocktail with Rosemary Garnish was really good too, could drink a few of those. Big portions and we didn’t manage a dessert, so another visit needs to be on the cards! Highly recommend a visit! ⭐️
