Popped in for a light lunch after a walk today, absolutely delicious ciabatta and chips, large portions, at a very reasonable price. Staff are so friendly,and helpful, a perfect country pub.

Excellent experience at this pub, the food was superb, the best duck dish (special) I’ve had! Good atmosphere, friendly staff and overall a great experience. Will most certainly be back

Well cooked, well presented, quality food. Pub favourites and great fish specials. Puddings also really good with a great selection and good portions.
As for the drinks, the most popular lager and beer prices are kept low, as are soft drinks (so you don't feel ripped off as the driver). Also the option of premium brands.

Valentines 💘 meal was incredible. Great atmosphere, staff friendly and attentive. Seafood Sharing platter to start was delicious 🤤 always good selection of specials on, well worth going a little bit out of your way to try somewhere new! Thanks guys 😊

We had our wedding reception at the pub on 09.10.21, after originally booking them for catering for a bigger affair. They were nothing but accomodating when we wished to alter our plans & have a much more low key reception, including a whole new menu despite having only three months notice. The staff were absolutely incredibly, very friendly & nothing but polite. Including one going off shift who wished us congratulations etc. The food was absolutely delicious, the portion sizes were good & everyone said how fab the food was. We were also all absolutely stuffed. Overall, we had a brilliant day & nothing was too much trouble, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, the staff were top notch & amazing food. We will definitely be back again!
