Really exceptional Italian serving possibly the best pizza you’ll ever eat! LOVED my vegetarian pizza with mushrooms, peppers, artichokes, onions and olives. Crispy base. Very moreish! Deliciously fruity and rich Syrah red wine. Partner loved his Mediterranean seafood pizza, including prawns & mussels. We also loved our garlic and rosemary focaccia. Amazing service! Very prompt. What a fantastic place which is easily the best Italian restaurant in York. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff on arrival and taken to our table which was located in a lovely little candle lit corner. It felt like our own private area. The ambience of the place is fantastic, a unique cellar with a wonderful atmosphere. We visited on a Wednesday evening and the place was full. The staff are attentive and friendly who clearly have a passion for their work. All the food we ate was delicious and substantial. One of the mains we tried was the Parcels of pasta filled with cheese and pear served in a creamy basil sauce. This was incredible and a combination that works really well. 100% recommend trying this! Overall a must visit if you are looking the best Italian food in York. Booking highly recommended.

Visited here on a Thursday night. It gets really busy so I would definitely book beforehand, you probably won't get a table if you just turn up. It's quite a quirky, cosy place with a great menu. We ordered the Burrata caprese with cherry tomatoes, stuffed peppers and a pesto dressing, and Antipasto del contadino - selection of Italian cured meats for starters. Then we had the Del fattore - chicken, peppers and mushrooms pizza and Tagliatelle al tartufo - tagliatelle with wild mushrooms, truffle and cream for mains. For desserts we had the meringue with black forest berries and white chocolate cheesecake. The food and drinks all arrived quickly and all was delicious. The portion sizes are good, the dessert portions are very generous! The staff are very attentive too. I would definitely recommend Delrios and look forward to eating here again on our next visit to York. Thank you team Delrios.

We went here on a recommendation from a family member, and it exceeded that expectation by far. The pizza was great. Nice thin base from a proper pizza oven with fresh tomato sauce and lovely mozzarella. The cheese cake special was lovely and light. To top it off the service and atmosphere was great.

The lady who served us must have been one of the friendliest people on earth. Sufficed to say, the service was great. The arched brick cellar underground experience isolates you from the world above and gives you the impression you could be dining in any location. The food tasted very nice and the calzone was spot on; ham, cheese, mushroom and spinach: not overcomplicated. Due to the architecture though it can be quite noisy when full.
