Great little restaurant near York centre, food was amazing, very reasonable. Staff were very attentive especially rana. Not a lot of atmosphere but everything eles was spot on.

Wirklich sehr nettes Personal, total leckeres Essen und ein schöner Aufenthalt. Meiner Meinung nach definitiv ein "Geheimtipp", da das Restaurant etwas außerhalb liegt. Wir würden beim nächsten Besuch in York definitiv wiederkommen! Lediglich das Trinkgeld war mit ca 20 % unseres Erachtens nach zu hoch bemessen... (Translated by Google) Really very nice staff, absolutely delicious food and a nice stay. In my opinion, it's definitely an "insider tip" because the restaurant is a bit out of the way. We would definitely come back next time we visit York! Only the tip was, in our opinion, too high at around 20%...

One of the better Indian offerings in York. The menu has a lot to offer and the dishes are reliably high quality. Prices are fair and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The mixed starter plate was especially good as were the sagg options.

Visiting York and was recommended this restaurant by a local pub landlord. So glad we took his advice, amazing food, really delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful and can't fault anything about this excellent restaurant, would highly recommend to anyone for a great, well priced meal in pleasant surroundings.

Traveling for work I have been to several restaurants around York, as my profile shall show. I can say hands down this restaurant is the best I’ve been to. I’m of Bengali ethnicity and the waiters are so keen to talk Bengali with me. Usually the problem with curry houses like these is there’s always too much oil in the dish. The first night I ordered Nawabi Khanna, which was sublime. The reason I rate the restaurant a 4/5 is the oil content prevented me from having a good quality sleep. I returned there a few days later and the waiter recognized me. I’ve been following the waiter’s recommendations for what to eat as I always order the same dish. I had the chicken and mince dish, the staff curry and then the Naga lamb curry. All fantastic choices, I highly recommend them. Do not be afraid to request less oil in your dish as this makes the taste even better. The waiters will be fine with this! If you go to York, please go to this restaurant.

Good was amazing, very tasty would definitely recommend. The restaurant just lacked atmosphere as we were the only people in at the time. The speaker phone for takeaways shouting you have a new order every minute is a bit monotonous.
