firstly the food in here is amazing we had zero issues with anything, it didn't take ages to arrive either which was great! ALL the staff were lovely and allowed us to use a reserved table when the others were taken, after a long day day in york it was certainly appreciated. The prices are very reasonable. They also have a good vegetarian and vegan menu.
You do have to go upstairs to enter so please bare this is mind if you have difficulties.
My only qualm was the eating and drinking areas aren't separated so there was a group of people stood in touching distance of us, almost leaning on my sister was abit over whelming

The staff is top notch. Super friendly and love their jobs! Great food too. And if you like rock music, like I do, you'll feel right at home here. Must pop in when you are in York.
Awesome food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Loses a star for putting a piece of paper between waffle and the plank of wood it was served on that got soggy and stuck to the waffle.

Fabulous place serving great drinks and fabulous food. I was beaten by a side of amazing chunky fries. The things were enormous!!
One of my favourite pubs in York. Awesome rock music, not too loud to drown out conversations. Heated smokig area with a lovely atmosphere. During summer it's expanded as well. Very good hygiene everywhere. The food selection is amazing and extremely tasty. A wide plethora of cocktails at really cheap prices (2 for £6). Definitely recommend!

Amazing bar. Now does delicious food, including many vegan options. There is wise selection of drinks, including beers, ciders, spirits and their 2 for £6 cocktails go down a treat. The decor is alternative playing grunge and rock music but tasteful enough to bring even my prudent mother who loved the nice and frequently atmosphere.
Good music, good crowd, bar staff know their stuff and quick to serve even when busy. Plenty of cocktails to choose from. Food is pretty impressive as well. Have been a few times now and always end up having a fun time
