Excellent cocktails at really reasonable prices. Friendly staff and plenty of places to sit. The decor was really quirky and fit in well with the relaxed atmosphere. The only one small drawback for me was the unisex toilets, I'm sorry, but I really didn't like coming out of a stall with men about too, I know it's supposed to be inclusive, but there should be a choice.
Great cocktail bar, huge list of cocktails to choose from and the bar staff are super knowledgeable about the drinks. Drinks are well made and flavourful.

So nice we visited twice during a 4 night stay! We always try and get a visit to Evil Eye during our stays in York and have done so many times over the last decade.
The cocktails are one of the best value for money options in York packing some great flavour, and there is a large quantity available guaranteed to quench the fussiest of palates.
The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and make a mean cocktail. Add into the mix some great decor and excellent music, and you're all set for a good time.

I usually hate karaoke, but the atmosphere and eclectic styles of music made it class.

We came in yesterday during a really busy time, but the service was still outstanding. The whole team were busy serving, but kept the banter between them and were so efficent. We were served my a lovely young lady called Mia, who managed to pull off serving 2 customers at the same time (to avoid offending another customer who had arrived at the same time as us. She got all of the cocktail orders correct and very quickly whipped up the amazing cocktails. Superb service, well done Mia. 💕

Lovely girl served me this time! Fancied something like a milk shake but alcoholic, trusted her to make what she thought I'd like, and it was perfect. It was more like an alcoholic pudding and I was very happy.

Great cocktails, knowledgeable staff, great place. There’s three floors of seating with comfy sofas. Pina colada was perfect, and the Key west cooler looked and tasted great.
