The service is excellent, we were often asked if we needed anything. We had Naco's and french fries with three cheeses. The portions were very large and sufficient. The beers were delicious. The decoration is warm, the pub is clean, the customer base is very good.
I was very pleased. If I go to York again, I will definitely visit again.
Very nice pub at St Mary's Gate, York. Picturesque area. Near St Olaves. Extensive range of pizzas including gluten free bases.
First of all this is a pub and it has more as one room.
We came here to have dinner. We had a pizza and liked it lot.
The staff was very friendly.
The room we where in was a not so big one, but had a lot of things in it and it looked cosy.

The Minster Inn is perfect. Great staff, lovely pizza & fab ale. Then I want to keep it to ourselves ... but that would not pay their bills 🤔

Food available, but we called in just for drinks on this occasion, so cannot comment on the fayre.
Well worth a stop, definitely recommend a visit.
Absolutely fantastic for us and our 10yo, pizza brilliant, great beer, music not too loud and the service is fantastic - can’t recommend it highly enough - but you do need to book - and order the tiramisu first b4 it runs out
The food, staff, atmosphere.... everything about this place was amazing! They serve the best vegan pizza I've ever had, the staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome. It's one of those places that is so good you want to keep it secret, but that wouldn't be fair on them as they deserve the praise and a brilliant review! Any time I'm anywhere near York I am definitely going back here
Found this bar on our way back from the Rail Museum, so glad we did. Firstly, lovely looking pub, really liked the decor and atmosphere. Secondly, the music rocks. Thirdly and most importantly, the Butterly Bitter was crystal clear and delicious. Fourthly ! The cheesy chips selection is top nosh. And fifthly and by no means lastly, the staff are brilliant. Josh and his team are super friendly and accommodating. We just moved to the neighbourhood and they made the 5 of us feel right at home! Great pizza and drink options as well.
