Stayed over at the campsite, excellent facilities. Had lunch Saturday, good food, good service & good value. Staff very friendly & helpful.
Pub has all sports channels showing, good sized beer garden with play area for kids.
Park & ride into York nearby.
Highly recommend.

Stayed at the caravan site for the weekend. Popped into Lysander arms for a drink when we got there and ordered food as it looked so good. Brilliant atmosphere and friendly staff. Tried to book for Sunday lunch but full. Obviously popular. Would definitely go back.

We stayed here for 2 nights, the facilities are excellent, very clean. 10 mins walk up the road to Park and Ride into York.
Excellent Carvery on the Sunday. Small problem with our motorhome when we were leaving, the owner was extremely helpful to help us back on our journey. Would definitely reccomend this lovely place .

Bit pricey but fab food with great staff so not many complaints here. Beer was good but driving so not really qualified to judge. Easy parking and a lively bar too.

Excellent pub with its own campsite which is great, 10 minute walk to bus stops in to York, the food is excellent, we had 2 stakes and a btl of wine £45 perfectly cooked, definitely worth a visit thanks to all the staff, all the best for 2024.

Friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere. The food was very tasty, and very nicely cooked. Starter, main and pudding, all delicious.
UPDATE: another lovely time at Lysander Arms. Very accommodating, friendly and pleasant staff, and once again delicious food (it's worth a visit for the onion rings alone!). The setting was also lovely at this time of year (Christmas).
