Went to see a local band. Great atmosphere. Been in there many times always warm and welcoming. Dave one of the longest serving landlords in the city.

Nice welcome from staff shown to room it was as expected dated but clean and comfortable nothing to complain about bed,,tea,coffee and shower room also nice pint and close to barbican centre 😀

In my opinion this pub has remained traditional for many years. No arty fartyness about it.
Prices are great considering how close it is to the city centre.
