Dough

Whilst I wish that Dough provided a greater variety of bread, more regularly baked, what they do have is excellent, and it's the only place selling fresh bread in the vicinity so we're lucky to have them at all. The pizza slices are something of a Marmite option. If you prefer your pizza bread-like and cheesy (no judgement, there's a place for everything) then this is the place for you... but if you're after something with a crunchy base and toppings evocative of the Med then head elsewhere. It's not fancy but it is tasty, and certainly satisfying. The croissants and pastries are delicious, and high enough quality to serve them to guests at my B&B who then asked where they could buy more. High praise indeed!

A fab little bakery selling the most amazing sourdough bread! Crunchy and chewy on the outside and lovely and soft on the inside! We also love the garlic focaccia. It didn’t last long! As soon as we got in the car, we shared it all! It was meant to go with some soup later, but was too irresistible. The focaccia was soft and moreish! I could have eaten another 2!! They also sell fresh pizzas and pastas and cakes! Will be back again to try the other goodies!

Fantastic bakery here! Came in the other day on my way by to be treated to an amazing selection of breads, cakes, pizzas and more! I bought a loaf of bread and a cheese pizza square and I have to say I was delighted by how sensible the pricing is and how tasty the food was! 100% recommend it’s great!
