Been here a couple of times and like this place , good portion sizes and quality of food , some downsides to this place - can get busy at peak times so be prepared to wait and the service can be slow , can get expensive but overall very good experiences we have had and would recommend the salt and pepper platter

Don't judge a book by it's cover. On the outside this looks like a bog standard takeaway but this little unassuming place serves some of the best Chinese food in York.
You know the kind of fish & chip restaurant that has naff decor from the 70's but is always packed with pensioners because they serve a damn good fish & chips? This place is kinda the Chinese equivalent, it's stuffed with Chinese students, the decor/service is nothing to write home about and the concept of allergies & veterinarians/vegan is probably a little alien to them... but they serve damn good Chinese food.

Excellent authentic Chinese food. This isn't exactly what you would expect for a UK Chinese and they serve up much more authentic fair here. No cash but you can pay using bank transfer. Servings are huge as well.
My only complaint is that I wish the 地三鲜 had more eggplant and less potato. Still some of the best I have had outside China!

Lovely place with amazing food and generous portion sizes. Staff were kind and attentive. Will definitely be returning when in York again.

Food was really good and we got loads of it. You could probably share one main dish between 2 people easily, but we didn't.
This place is cash only, I had to run off and get some cash from walmgate shops.
Not a large restaurant so very relaxed in there.
Loads of different drinks to try here.
For 2 people I think total bill was £40 ish with sides, drinks and starters and we couldn't eat any more food.

If you want authentic Chinese, I mean duck blood & gizzard authentic. This has to be the best place to go in York. I had the best salt & pepper ribs I've ever had & beef noodles 🍜. Next time I'm going back for the sipcy frogs legs. I love this place & I would definitely recommend that you go 🙂.

Called in at this take away. Yesterday 5th December for. A meal and i was really surprised at the quality and taste and the portion size was a very filling one too..

Tiny restaurant but busy, mostly serve local. Staff is friendly on the day. Good taste. Huge portion and value price. The only downside is hard to find parking spots. Recommend from friends and now Will be returning. Keep it up.

This is a hidden gem, food is amazing, cash only so take cash. Staff are lovely. Definitely worth a visit if in York.
