Been here a couple of times and like this place , good portion sizes and quality of food , some downsides to this place - can get busy at peak times so be prepared to wait and the service can be slow , can get expensive but overall very good experiences we have had and would recommend the salt and pepper platter

Surprise gem! Don't judge a book by it's cover. On the outside this looks like a bog standard takeaway but this little unassuming place serves some of the best Chinese food in York. You know the kind of fish & chip restaurant that has naff decor from the 70's but is always packed with pensioners because they serve a damn good fish & chips? This place is kinda the Chinese equivalent, it's stuffed with Chinese students, the decor/service is nothing to write home about and the concept of allergies & veterinarians/vegan is probably a little alien to them... but they serve damn good Chinese food.

Excellent authentic Chinese food. This isn't exactly what you would expect for a UK Chinese and they serve up much more authentic fair here. No cash but you can pay using bank transfer. Servings are huge as well. My only complaint is that I wish the 地三鲜 had more eggplant and less potato. Still some of the best I have had outside China!

Food was really good and we got loads of it. You could probably share one main dish between 2 people easily, but we didn't. This place is cash only, I had to run off and get some cash from walmgate shops. Not a large restaurant so very relaxed in there. Loads of different drinks to try here. For 2 people I think total bill was £40 ish with sides, drinks and starters and we couldn't eat any more food.
