There is no food. But it's a great pub if you are near it.

I go here most fridays after work it has lovely food and the drinks are a fair price would highly recommend.

A great little pub on Micklegate in York. Friendly, welcoming staff and accessible due to the side entrance being step free and suitable for wheelchairs. Good to see that for not a huge place, there's also a disabled toilet facility. All Covid safety measures in place. Outdoor seating area is a good little sun trap too. Update: another visit, still as good. Not to busy, but too wet to use the suntrap!
Really nice pub. Great if you're looking to get to somewhere down to earth. Zero pretentiousness here and is usually open later than other York pubs.
Lovely little pub. Casual with lots of locals but still friendly. Good selection of drinks. We were in York overnight and went in the first night for a drink to see what it was like. We enjoyed it so much, that we went back the next evening for a quick drink before we headed home. We'll definitely be back the next time we are in York and child free again!
Brilliant pub with great music entertainment this bank holiday weekend. Not too busy, easy to get served. Clean and spacious.
