This is a little oasis of perfection. Such a lovely setting. Excellent wine selection thatbcan be bought or enjoyed in this lovelyvsetting. It has hidden depths and a delightful little sun filled terrace. Excellent wines at great prices and a wine to suit all pockets and tastes. Visit you will be enchanted

The local wine shop/bar that I never knew I needed but now can’t do without. Jorvine is a really nicely fitted out and decorated space. It offers coffee, cakes, cheese, freshly baked bread and light bites, craft beer and of course an extensive & thoroughly enjoyable wine list. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly in creating a great, relaxed atmosphere that fits in to the local community like it has always been there. They also regularly host events such a wine or beer tasting showcasing particular vineyards or breweries. All in all this is a lovely place that is well worth a visit for anyone who is into wine; and maybe even if you aren’t, it’s still a great place to drop in to with friends.

Second time I've been and still just as amazing. Huge variety of wines to choose from. Great atmosphere with a cosy feel. The food is delicious and the shop is well stocked. The best thing about this place are the staff, they really do know about the wines and helped me select something that suited my taste. Looking forward to visiting again soon. It's a real gem of a place.

What a find! We spotted this little gem of a place en route to our holiday flat, and returned in the evening. What can we say? We returned twice in the five days we spent in York, and cannot wait to be back next year. Treat yourself to a couple of relaxing hours tasting wine and nibble some cheese (or meat, or a foccia), and take a good bottle home after. We acutally bought a bottle of english (!) white! Highly recommended, and well worth supporting!
