I am a fan of Turkish cuisine and I have tasted it in many countries, however the experience in Yakamoz was beyond any word, the food was 100 out of 10, all the meat even the chicken was prepared perfect, and was not dry at all. Simply even the rise was cooked perfectly. The stuff offered us the tea as a compliment for free. Very helpful and lovely personnel. Hardly recommend.

Absolute Stunning good food, high Quality meat and a Super service. You feel welcome in The first second you come in, i would recommend it to everyone who is in york or nearby to go inside and Order Food here !

Visited here last year and enjoyed it, so it was a no brainer for where we was going to eat this time around. Great service and welcoming staff, gotta love the manager, top guy he is. Food is excellent and reasonably priced.

Excellent food and service in a lovely old building, really welcomed in with great service from the waitress and chef too! We started off with Sucuk and Halloumi, a winning combo. Will definitely come again next time we are in York.

Excellent restaurant, food was excellent. I had the mixed grill which was very enjoyable. My wife ordered the lamb but got the lamb chops , which was lovely but slightly wrong.
However overall very good food , my only gripe was the cost of the bottled beer.

The best lamp I had recently!!! 😍😍😍 So tender and juicy😍 Coffee and baklava are highly recommended as well!!! The owner and staff are super nice!!!

Lovely Turkish place with a good ambience and amazing food . We ordered the cheese pies and the Moussaka. They were delicious . Their desserts sounded delightful, but we had no room for it unfortunately.
Definitely recommend it.

We eat in here whenever we are working in York. Best Turkish around the area in my opinion. Turkish bread that comes out as compliments from the chef is lovely. Food is spot on its self. Reasonable prices and the staff are spot on. 100% recommend.
