Food was great BUT only downside was the beef strips didn't come with any side and it was £22.85 !
The brulee had split when the sugar had been caramelised on top.

On holiday in the area and would definitely recommend if you're looking for something a little bit more upmarket. Book a good few days in advance to avoid disappointment. Couldn't fault the whole experience.

Superb meal and it was by pure chance on a Sunday evening when everywhere else was Covid-booked. Amazing combo of flavours and food, like the Amble octopus starter which was amazing! If you happen to be in the area, give it a go you wont regret it.

Wow, this was the best meal we have had in the area. The food was fresh and delicious, the staff friendly (if busy!) and the ambiance was good. I had the halibut, which was a fantastic thick piece of fish, my partners lamb also looked good.
Edit as we went back a second time, the meal was just as good if not better, I had the beef rib, which was actually more like an amazingly tasty and tender steak (no bone at all), all the accompaniments were also super tasty. My partner had belly pork which was also really good.

Me and the wife absolutely loved this place, first time we have been but won't be the last. The chef puts a nice twist on some classic food.

I can't speak highly enough of this place, what a treat. We have eaten lots of great food on our short break in Northumberland but this place is a cut above. Wine, service, decor, ambience - all wonderful.

Me and me husband decided to go for a drive and ended up on amble. We looked to see what was open in amble on Google and it said it was open but it wasn't. But we had bout half hour to wait b4 it opened again and where glad we did was lush food. Very reasonable priced. Only a selected menu on tables but had a few over options on the board. Staff friendly and helpful would definitely go back.
