Wasn't too busy. Been here before. Beer was good. Loved the pizza. Burger with cheese inside was a bit too round and not as enjoyable. Staff attentive and a very good experience. Just didn't like the burger. Chicken wings were pretty good.

Outstanding food all round. Despite poor weather be had an outdoor space with an umbrella and heater. Good vibe and happy fellow scouser server. Good selection of drinks and loaded fries with dips on the side are a winner. Authentic pizza is also special. Definitely worth a visit over neighbouring pubs.
Visited twice during our stay in Ambleside. The first just for drinks and the second for an evening meal (for which we booked a table in advance). The staff are great, and do well to cope with the volume of tables they have to look after. …
- Great variety of pizzas. Portion was generous. Pizza tasted very good.
- Burger is a bit dry. I’d recommend pizza over burger.
