The food was really good and the service was amazing! We had a really lovely lady serving us (I didn't ask her name but she was very pretty and had tattoos!), who was so friendly and helpful our whole evening ☺️ My friends (and their dog!) and I all felt really welcome as soon as we got there - would definitely go back!
Amazing food and incredible service from the ladies serving both food and drinks.
My wife had a gorgeous homemade pie with a freshly baked crust not microwaved like most places, creamy mash and fresh veg.
I had a gorgeous burger, homemade onion rings, fresh salad and homemade coleslaw.
To finish I had a delicious Biscotti dessert and cream.
One of the best meals I've ever had and certainly the cheapest for such incredible quality.
We've already booked for Sunday lunch (Dinner to us Northerners 😁).
A couple in the corner were telling us how wonderful their meal was and said the Sunday dinner was just like homemade, so we booked that as well.
We'll certainly be regulars from now on. 👌
Lovely place, there for a car meet, food was awesome, but service at the bar very busy. Cool place with great atmosphere 👌🏼
Took dogs on a walk and called in for a drink. The staff were very welcoming and got us a couple of stools so we could sit at the bar. Good atmosphere and food smelled lovely, which we will try another time.

If you are looking for a warm and welcoming pub with fantastic food, look no further than The Cross Keys in Darfield. From the moment you step inside, you'll feel like you're part of the family!
The atmosphere is cosy and inviting, with a rustic decor that perfectly matches the pub's charming character. Dan and his team are incredibly friendly and attentive and go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience.
Every dish on the menu is made with care and attention to detail. Their Sunday roasts are delicious, as well as their evening meals, and the homemade desserts are a must have! We have been to their wine and gin-tasting evenings which are great nights out either as a couple or with friends. They also have Thursday quiz nights which are lots of fun and plenty of prizes to win!
Overall, we can't recommend this family-run pub enough. It's the perfect place to gather with friends and family over a nice meal or an evening at the quiz, and the warm and welcoming atmosphere will make you feel right at home. It really is worth a visit!

Called in to see in the New Year with family, there was a great atmosphere and it wasn't overcrowded. Drinks were reasonably priced , no big queues to get served - staff were very pleasant and attentive
