We really love going here. You can sit inside or outside and it's very nice. There's a good choice of drinks. We haven't been for lunch but it looks interesting. The people are very friendly and it's good value. It's in a good location, especially if you arrive on foot or on the bus because it's right at the top of Holloway. We usually park in Hayes Place to run errands and then pop in for a tea. It's definitely popular as well.
The photos show where we were sitting outside, surrounded by flower tubs.
Bit reluctant to share this Gem, but it deserves a comment for the being one of the best cafes in Bath. Few tourists make it up to the thriving Bear Flat community so you are 'safe' to linger on a lazy afternoon and tug into their sandwiches, cakes and coffees. Everything is home made and great. 5 outdoor curbside tables (on quiet street), Kids corner, books and magazines adds to the feeling that you are sat in your Aunt's front room. Note: lunch options usually diminish after 2pm.
Cannot Fault The Waitress, Friendly and Exceeded all Expectations.
I have my own fairly large Travel Mug and am used to being short changed (at other cafés) with a half empty serving. But the waitress listened and filled my travel mug up to the top. So a definite ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ well deserved.
I have been before and haven't had any negative experience at this café in Bath.
