As the only English people in this pub we were made to feel welcome, the harp was nice and had special offers on, they had a singer on during the day and at night and both finished with Penny Arcade if you know you know

The Royal Bar is a great little bar, friendly and welcoming, there’s always live music on there too with some great singers including a local guy called Bill McIntyre who has a fantastic voice, he’s a great guy who is very much in demand all over Belfast in the various clubs and bars etc.. you should definitely check him out as he plays all over Belfast throughout the week but especially every weekend.
The Royal Bar has a mixture of ages there, Friday nights seem to cater more for the younger ones but there was a mixture of all ages and the atmosphere was great. It’s a clean bar and the prices seemed to be very reasonable, but all in all I liked it in here and I’ll definitely be going back again many times over for sure!
