A very friendly place to watch the rugby final. We enjoyed the pasties at half time. All in all a memorable night for us Kiwi visitors.

Fantastic pub, great atmosphere, fantastic variety of drinks. The landlords and bar staff make the pub. Can’t fault the Appledore Inn what so ever! Recommend to anyone who enjoys a nice relaxed atmosphere and great ales!

What a great pub, we only found it half way through our stay in Bideford but made sure we went back before leaving, dog friendly good local Cider great atmosphere just what a pub should be.

Cracking little local. Well kept beers. Handy for the football club. Never had food here so can't comment.

Recommended by other guests that have signed the visitor's book in the holiday let we're staying in. Nice small tavern with friendly landlord and reasonably priced drinks - about an even £2 for a half pint. Has a little garden out back that smells of honeysuckle in the summer.
