The fish & chips were lovely. Nice fresh cod encased in crispy batter - no grease or sogginess. Staff always friendly delivering good service. Cheap, good quality drinks as usual.

Good size Witherspoon's with plenty of seating. Not too busy considering we went on a Saturday evening. Prices were really cheap compared to London prices and the staff were really friendly. Overall a good experience, I would definitely recommend stopping here if you are in the area.

A typically huge Wetherspoons with a long distance trek to the toilets and their usual amazing range of beers, spirits and wine, all at affordable prices. Tables weren't sticky, unlike some 'spoons! There's a few street side tables outside.

I mean, can't complain really can you. Reasonably priced food, not the best, not the worst. Their wings are top tier though. My only issue with Spoons is the fact they allow drinking alcohol from just gone 9am in the morning. I really think it should be sold no later than midday

Ordered the steak and kidney pudding and was surprised at how good it was. The staff were excellent, very friendly and professional. Everyone enjoyed their food so no complaints.

Friday night fish & chips supper, thought I'd try the local 'SPOONS' Staff hospitable and pleasant, great value for money, food and service was excellent from the 'app'. Busy and lively atmosphere.

Love all the Weatherspoon’s that we have visited, it’s more the clientele than Weatherspoon’s I think but sometimes the seats/chairs look grubby. Hey ho it’s open to the general public.

A huge thank you to the person who found my phone & ensured it was kept safe behind the bar. I tried to establish who it was ie a member of staff or a customer however I could not find out who handed it in. I am truly grateful to whoever handed it all, your are a true superstar, thank you so much 😊

Nice Spoons in a lovely town. People are friendly and you can start up a conversation without any sense of antagonism. Pity it was pouring down 🌧️🌧️🌧️🌧️
