Went there with a bunch of good friends and great company.
Lovely atmosphere, great food and crowd at Comptoir Libanais Birmingham. Met the chef, he was awesome and the staffs were amazing too.
Price range is great for anyone who wants to get good cooked and delicious food. I had the spiced hot chocolate and then the mixed grill.
Had a Great time with my Coding friends✌️
This place!
We went to 4 restaurants before coming back to this one. I’ve never tried Lebanese Food, but there’s a first time for everything.
We were greeted on arrival and ushered to our seats, given a menu and also the restaurant exclusive menu for savings too.
It was rather quiet at first but that may have been due to timing. It soon filled up, very quick. Initially I was confused and lost as to what to eat, but through process of elimination I chose a dish I thoroughly enjoyed. The atmosphere was very authentic, the decor was authentic enhancing the vibe, the music added to the ambiance, the service was friendly and the food was brilliant! Much better than I expected. It gave me my first taste of Lebanon and I loved it! I enjoyed this experience much more than I thought I would. You literally forget your sat in Birmingham!
A thoroughly enjoyable experience. Thank you 💫.
What could be improved: Being pedantic, I’d say, the waiters/waitresses would look great in authentic uniform.
I had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was exceptional, and the ambiance was beautiful. The flavors were just perfect, and the service was excellent. It's definitely worth the money spent. Highly recommended!
I recently dined at Comptoir Libanais, and I must say, the food was indeed impressive and well worth the money. The flavors and authenticity of the Lebanese cuisine were a delightful culinary experience.
Service was commendable, and this is where Alessandra truly shone. Not only did she serve as our waitress, but she also took on the roles of receptionist and bartender. It was evident that she was single-handedly running the entire establishment during our visit. However, this situation left me feeling somewhat uncomfortable.
It's clear that Alessandra's dedication and multitasking skills are remarkable, but it's not fair for one person to bear the responsibility of running an entire restaurant. The establishment appeared to be understaffed, and it was disheartening to see her rushing around tirelessly to provide a seamless experience for diners.
In light of this, I would like to extend my gratitude to Alessandra for her exceptional efforts, but I also strongly recommend that the management consider hiring more staff. No one should have to work so tirelessly, and it's essential for both the employees and customers that the workload is distributed more reasonably to maintain the high quality of service that Comptoir Libanais aims to provide.
Fantastic cuisine and first-rate care. Everything about the trip was wonderful. The staff was incredibly responsive, proactive, and cordial. Although I usually oppose mandatory service charges, I was happy to pay the 10% fee in exchange for the excellent service. I ordered the mixed grill, and my dining companion ordered the chicken kofta burger. Both dishes were prepared to absolute precision and were incredibly filling and flavorful. The salad and rice were also very tasty and fresh. The drink menu has a decent selection to suit everyone. Definitely interested in returning shortly.
A nice place to have your food in, variant Middle Eastern cousin. it is based in first floor Birmingham grand central, smaller than the other branches and different theme, not flowery, but the staff is very responsive and quick to get you the order. A bit pricey!
Arrived at the airport at the very early hours of the morning and after getting through security and feeling peckish, we came across the delightful Comptoir Lebanis, delicious food, fantastic service and the most amazing relaxing zen experience within the restaurant amongst their floral and canopied decorated spaces, I was very much put in the mood for my travels! We enjoyed the pomegranate and raspberry pistachio Greek yoghurt pancakes drizelled with honey! a delectable mint tea and a Lebanese style breakfast!
This was our first visit to this chain and we had a wonderful lunch here. The decor is really beautiful with flowers and bright colours, you honestly forget that you are in a train station! We had a mezze platter and some extra falafels. The hummous and baba ganoush were delicious, and the waitress was very accommodating when we asked for some extra bread. I would definitely return here hopefully!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Comptoir Libanais in Birmingham, and I must say that Manager Szymon provided exceptional service. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the delectable salads they offer. I highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience
