Wow! What can I say?? Today was my first visit to your restaurant and I have been completely overwhelmed by the fantastic choice of options, ALL of which were gluten free & vegan. I have been vegetarian for 29 years, and was diagnosed coeliac 15 years ago. In that time, menu choices have generally been at best limited and at worst non-existent. So to have such a huge selection of choices, none of which I've had to check if they are suitable or not beforehand, has been absolute bliss. For the past 18 months I've been transitioning to vegan, and gradually I'm finding it that much easier when eating out as more and more restaurants improve their menus. However, this was completely on a different level, and I'm extremely excited to see a restaurant such as yours serving such delicious, healthy, gluten free AND vegan food!!! Thank you so much and see you again very soon!!

A few weekends ago we went on a double date to the Birmingham Donkey Sanctuary and then stopped off at Natural Healthy Foods in Birmingham. Firstly, we stopped off at their shop in Digbeth as they had a sample event with lots of vegan goodies to try We couldn’t believe how busy the shop was (which is obviously a great thing, hellooooo to the Vegans of Birmingham ) but I still managed to try lots of things from Vegan cheese to chocolate to Tofurky and even One Planet Vegan Pizza (best Vegan pizza I have tried!) I love the shop because you know that whatever you buy will be Vegan and never tested on animals. Quite a few products are also organic and UK sourced After purchasing some goodies including the Kookie cat cookies I have been after for a while, we made our way over to the Natural Healthy foods Eatery. The location is perfect, just opposite the Mailbox it took us less than 10 minutes to walk from Bullring and about five minutes from New Street Station. The restaurant is kind of like a buffet style, you grab a plate and help yourself to what you fancy. There is plenty of salad, raw food, chinese style noodles, cauliflower cheese, onion bread, curries, dhaal, potatos, vegetables and plenty more. At the end you weigh your plate and pay for what you have chosen. I had a bowl of food including a bit of everything and it came to £6.99. We didn’t fill up too much on the savoury dishes because I was eager to try the desserts! Between us we tried the espresso torte, the vanilla caramel cheesecake and key lime pie! I wish i had room to try it all! Don’t panic, they always have a takeaway option! The desserts are priced around £4.95 each and I 100 % think this is an absolute bargain! The desserts are the best I have ever tasted even compared to non vegan desserts and the added bonus are the desserts are all raw, so healthy they contain no refined sugar at all! Natural Healthy Foods have inspired me to create more raw dishes at home! My favourite was the Vanilla Caramel Cake but I could definitely eat all of them again! Next time I want to try the Tiramisu and the fudge! My OH is yet to switch to a fully Vegan diet but he loved the choice of desserts! He said he would rush to go back and would happily choose to eat here than any other restaurant! The only negative thing I can say, is that some of the desserts were not labelled so we had to keep asking what they were, however this was soon rectified whilst we were there! The staff were super duper friendly and happy to help The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, the design is really modern yet has a natural ethical feel with a great buzz of people. Some of my friends have tried the eatery too and they all loved the food too I have heard a few comments, where people have found the food to be expensive but I honestly believe you get what you pay for. If you were to eat a meal out in any other restaurant, I am sure the prices would be similar and for me, I love the fact I know that all the food I am eating is healthy and 100 percent Vegan the flavours really will tickle your tastebuds and I cannot wait to visit again! There is a shop attached to the eatery too, which is convenient to stock up on all your Vegan goodies! Could this place be any more perfect! I bought these Biona Organic Beans Location: 5/5 Staff 5/5 Price: 5/5 Taste and variety of food: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Overall: 5/5

Newly open about two years and this place is gorgeous. A big restaurant in Birmingham closest to Mailbox Birmingham Have not try a vegetarian version of fish n chips for a while so I ordered myself one and it’s lovely. Marinated tofu with crispy batter it’s just nice but I wish it could be bigger as the price you are paying are not cheap. There is a salad bar section if you prefer to go for something off the menu that’s a great option and salads are mostly much heavier taste with herbs and price goes by weight so you pay what you get. The homemade pizza is great worth a try and we ordered a garlic bread for side and it taste delicious!! Freshly baked! The green smoothies are good too! The restaurant tend to get busy during lunch or dinner so book in early if you go in big groups. Also bear in mind vegan food are not cheap but definitely worth for a much healthy diet.

Amazing food, a great concept well done. Affordable for the level of quality food you get! My plate was £6 and my partner's was £9. We were both stuffed by the time we finished. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about all products. We visited the shop afterwards and were helped by lovely lady to find some yummy treats for pudding!

Amazing menu and buffet. A variety of cuisines under one roof! I tried the vegan breakfast and it was really really good! Much better than most I've tried. The vegan bacon tastes like chorizo, but that's a win to me! Everything is at the level that will please everyone!

Really great if you're in a rush and need a healthy option. The vegan buffet is full of ridiculously tasty foods, and the intelligent weight-based pricing system means you pay for what you eat (which sounds obvious, I know, but it's a buffet!). Will be coming back to try the menu options when I have more time. Lovely atmosphere, obviously an ethically conscious place so you kinda feel like you're doing some good. You don't have to be a vegan to eat here (I'm not), you just have to want healthy, good food.

A really relaxed ambience and really great food and drinks. We had the vegan buffet which was filled with lots of lovely vegan food. It's priced by weight so our can have as much or as little as you feel like. Location wise it's a short walk to the local theatres and there's several car parks nearby and it's right by New Street Station too.

We loved this place so much the first time we visited that we've returned on our wedding anniversary. It's well worth the 2 hour train ride from York. The buffet options are exceptionally good and the desserts are exquisite. And to top it off, the staff are very friendly and seem genuinely happy (they probably eat there!)

I was taken here for a birthday meal. While I'm not vegan or vegetarian I wanted to try something different. We were not disappointed. They have the one section where you can buy gluten-free, vegan or vegetarian friendly household items (cheese, butter, biscuits etc.) The prices seemed reasonable but I would cross compare with your usual supermarkets to be sure. Onto the main restaurant we were greeted and explained how it all works. The options were amazing from rice to lentils to loads of different nut options. You have the option of portion control with a standard dinner plate or above the average. Great drinks options both hot and cold. So many dessert options I had to pick two (and got one extra for free as it was my birthday). The sustainable stance seems to run from the toilet facilities right up to the table. All in all I love this place, you feel so full after but don't feel bloated. Pleasant experience, will do it all again.

I love the vibe in Natural Bar and Kitchen. The large bright modern space is relaxed. The small wooden tables and seats in close proximity to each other makes for a sociable experience. The demographics of the people that eat here are wide teaching. Service is caring and the fast vegan food that they serve is care-ingly organised on each plate. The food is colourful, tasty; i forgot I was even eating plant based food. An excellent brunch spot or a pre-broad street dinner. This is the future of fast food.

We visited on a Friday night. The restaurant was running a 25% off which was a bonus but many of the dishes had sold out. I had a bowl of ramen that wasn't even on the menu?! So is this a good place to eat for a vegan or a non Vegan person? Foodwise I would say "yes". Even if you still eat animals I think you can eat well here, enjoy the change. Less impressive to me was aspects of the admin and facilities. The staff, though very pleasant, didnt seem to have a full grasp of what was going on and I found the menu sparse.
