Amazing place to have a drink, The Fighting Cocks is a traditional English Pub in beautiful Moseley, which is famous for its pubs. It's an old fashioned cosy place with a lovely Beer Garden.

Went there yesterday night with couple of friends after indulging in some heavy Indian food @ Tipu Sultan Majestic for a quick pint of beer and I really loved the place.

Staff is alright, service is quick and drinks are good specially their craft beers, I tried a Cornish Lager "Korev" while my friends went for tried and tested "Guiness". For the second round we were asked to try their famous Strawberry beer, and we must say it didn't disappoint. Dry, fruity and lightly spiced, it was Fizzy and Refreshing.

We didn't eat anything there as we were already more than full, but as they say there is a separate corner reserved for beer in a man's stomach ;)

To sum it up you won't regret going there for a drink.

You feel the old traditional breweries when you first enter in the pub. Witb its original and simple design, it is one of the most beautiful place that i have been to.
I am giving full stars for its design and concept.

Overall, we thought this was a lovely place to have a Sunday roast for the family. We each ordered something different but felt the sharing platter was the most value. I had the beef roast but was a bit disappointed that I had only 2 small slices of beef, however the Yorkshire pudding was generously sized even if it were a bit overcooked. Our roast potatoes weren't crispy but they still tasted nice. The roast root veggies were done nicely and cabbage was a nice a touch. The gravy/jus could be a bit richer but thought it was just the right amount. The chicken was the best out of the lot, very well cooked and seasoned and generous. The pork belly was delicious and our second favourite. The steak and chips could do with some substantial greens other than a watercress garnish like peas or green beans or broccoli to make it a complete meal. The service was good and the staff very attentive. The atmosphere was also lovely to eat in. We generally enjoyed our lunch and would recommend it to others on a 7/10 score.

Amazing. Scotch eggs. Best I have ever had. Made fresh and the eggs were runny and cooked to perfection! Just LOOK at my photos - they tell the whole story!!!

An impulse visit from a quick Google search and it did not disappoint. My partner had a roast which he said was amazing, and I only wanted something light so I had prawn and chorizo with feta, which was delicious. We both had brownies which were amazing too. Great food, friendly staf and very quick service. really nice vibe in there too. Can highly recommend.

Will always come here when in Moseley. Great wine selection and drinks. Met a friend early doors one weekend - got peckish and ordered some small plates to share - were all delicious and generous portions. Nice chilled atmosphere and good service. Music at the weekend is always brilliant- amazing bands and up beat atmosphere! Great bookings (thanks Karen)! Really good to see live bands back on The Cocks. Recommend!

Heard it was highly rated for Sunday Roast so a group of us decided to give it a go. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and most found some room to squeeze in dessert, which were also really good! Definitely worth the small wait for our food.

We really enjoyed our visit for Sunday lunch. The drinks were really nice and the roast dinner was superb! The staff were super friendly and attentive. I would have given a 5 star, but the desert took 45 minutes to arrive. I ordered via the app. A function to give a wait time when the kitchen is overwhelmed would be appropriate. I would be unlikely to use the app again in my next visit.

Great place and great staff. Often pop in for a pint of Peroni or 3! Food is excellent and the garden is great, even when it's a bit chilly the heaters do the job.

It is a rare occasion that I find myself compelled to "Big up!" a place. But after my visit to The Fighting Cocks I had to put text to screen. The bar manager and her staff made me feel completely comfortable from the moment I arrived. The food was excellent and (More importantly.... ) the beer was of the very finest quality! I'll be back!

Really great Sunday roast... Nice historical pics on wall. A touch too chilly. Dog friendly gets my vote. Well done
